My Name is Andrew Smythe. and im a 21 year old web designer from sydney. I first started designin web pages at school but furthered my education with a Web Design Certificate at Hornsby Tafe. This course taught me XHTML, CSS and Javascript. It also taught the basics of PHP and MySql, which i have further taught myself at home.
I am a self taught surf photographer. My work has been published in publication all around the world, including Movement Magazine, Riptide, Le Boogie, Waves and Carve Magazine (UK). Surf photography has taken me around the world, but nothing can beat being in my own backyard and shooting the worlds best doing what they love
I have been shooting photos for just over 6 years now, and started out using a small point and shoot along the nothern beaches of sydney. It did not take long for that hobby to turn into an obsession, and i soon found myself regularly making trips down to the south coast of NSW and beyond. As time moved on and my work began to appear in magazines around the world i was given the opportunity to travel the world shooting the worlds best riders.
